Vegas: A Tragedy

I am no stranger to Las Vegas, but it had been a cool minute since I had been back. From the moment I arrived on the strip, I remembered why: Vegas and I don't get along.
You have to be a special kind of person to actually love Vegas. It's kind of cool to go once in a long while, but to go often is a whole other demon. Once you look down from all the colorful and flashy lights, you see what Vegas really is. It's a place where being drunk out of your mind is the norm, where gambling addictions are encouraged, and where prostitution is handed out to you on cards. Personally, I can't see myself ever enjoying myself on the strip, it's not my cup of tea.
What was my biggest pet peeve? Vegas is really difficult to photograph. I know, of all things. There's too many bright lights and sore spots that you don't really want to include in your pictures, like the neon CVS sign in the one above. People also really love to get in your way when you finally think you have the right angle.
I'm sure the clubs are nice and the hotels are comfortable, but sorry Vegas, I don't think there's going to be a second date with me.
