The Ugly Water Bottle Club

          There is no denying in your heart of hearts that the fancy reusable water bottles are butt ugly. Yes, they are very useful and very good for the environment, but those merits do not make it attractive. I avoided purchasing one of these water bottles for that exact reason. They're just not the greatest accessory. 
          It seems like everyone at my school has one. They carry them around like badges of honor. I go to a very well hydrated school, so I gave in and decided to buy one, too.

          The real reason I bought one was because I don't drink enough water, but if I have water in front of me, I will drink it like there's never going to be anymore water available to me. At restaurants, I finish the whole glass before the waiter comes back to take out order. So in buying one of these ugly bottles, I'm really just giving myself the opportunity to drink more water knowing that I will. 
          My ugly water bottle has taught me a valuable lesson about life. It's great to be a rebel and to go against the grain, but following the crowd isn't always a bad thing. I resisted being well hydrated because I didn't want an ugly water bottle, but also because everyone had one. I missed out on being a little more healthy. So from one rebel to another, be smart with going against the grain. You might die of thirst.
