Put Down Your Phones At Concerts

To me, there's nothing more annoying than not being able to see the band onstage at a concert because of someone's phone/arms. The worst part is when you have to resort to watching the concert on the person's phone because they're recording the whole thing. Why?! I am especially giving the stink eye to the people who are completely aware of the fact  that they are taller than everyone else and still choose to obstruct our view. Here are my rant points for today:
  1. Take a picture and put it down. I don't mind if someone in front of me wants to take a quick picture of the concert and then put their phone down because I am not totally insensitive. I do it too sometimes! It becomes a problem when you're having an entire photo shoot or when you decide that recording the whole concert is a great idea. I paid good money to watch the actual band preform. If I wanted to watch them through a screen, I would have stayed at home and looked up the concert on YouTube.
  2. Don't your arms get tired? I know I personally cannot hold up my phone that long and still be comfortable. I am seriously concerned for your well being, so for your sake and the sake of others, put your arms down. You'll be better for it  in the end.
  3. Can you really enjoy a concert when you're worrying about documenting it? If you're recording a concert, most of the time you're looking at it through your phone. Forget the fact that I paid for the concert for a second and remember that so did you! I'm guessing you wanted to see the band live and I'm also going to guess that, judging by the fact that you're using a cell phone, you were not paid to record the concert. Don't give them free recordings, they should have to pay for that! Am I right?
  4. You're going to drain your battery. Practically speaking, if you run out of battery on the way home and are not familiar with the area, you will get lost. Besides not knowing how to get home and being stuck in the middle of nowhere, you will get kidnapped and die. It could happen! And all because you just had to record the whole concert.
Moral of the story: put your phone down or you will die.
